Mini-Reunion Schedule & Information

Weekend Schedule - June 5th thru 7th

The below itinerary is subject to final confirmation and to securing enough classmate interest to be able to proceed!

Friday, June 5th:

Saturday, June 6th:
  • Morning (optional): Saturday Morning in NYC Small Group Activities (e.g., yoga in the park, exploring the High Line, jogging along the Hudson, etc.)
  • 12:00 – 2:00 PM: Picnic in Central Park (with buffet / family style food!)
  • Afternoon: NYC Exploring! Organized Small Group Activities (walking tours, sightseeing, museum visits, etc.) … or free time to catch-up and do whatever you like with classmates!
    • Example Activities (to be facilitated by the mini-reunion team – tentative list)
      • Afternoon at Little Island
      • Walking the High Line and Exploring Hudson Yards
      • Self-Guided Scavenger Hunt (run by an NYC tour operator)
      • Museum Visits (The Met, MoMA, or the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum)
      • Enjoying a Broadway Show Together (show TBD!)
      • Visiting One World Observatory Observation Deck
      • Visiting SUMMIT One Vanderbilt
      • Guided Tour (Central Park Guided Walking Tour or Fifth Avenue Gilded Age Mansions Walking Tour)
  • 6:30 – 10:00 PM: Sunset Cruise aboard Harbor Lights – Including Dinner and Dance Party!
  • 10 PM Onward: Relaxing at the Yale Club of NYC and/or After Party to be Announced!

Sunday, June 7th:
  • 10 AM – 1 PM:  Brunch at Yale Club of NYC (Rooftop)
  • Afternoon:  Goodbyes / Informal Afternoon Activities (coordinated on WhatsApp)
 

Event Registration

Registration: To register for the Yale Classes of the 2000s – NYC Summer in the City Mini Reunion, please click here to complete the registration form. Your registration has not been sent to the YAA until you see a Registration Confirmation screen. You will receive a confirmation email following the completion of this registration form.

Fees: There are three fee options available for this Mini Reunion:

  • Full Reunion ($299 per person)
  • Saturday Only ($159 per person)
  • Cruise Only ($99 per person)
  • Children are welcome at half-off the above rates.  Children under four years of age are FREE.  Please contact [email protected] for details.

Cancellation Deadline: A full refund will be provided if you cancel before Friday, May 29, 2026. After that date, refunds will be based on the Class’s recoverable costs. If you need to cancel your reunion registration, please note that you will also need to contact your hotel to cancel your accommodations.

Hotel: There are no hotel room blocks reserved for this Mini Reunion. Attendees are responsible for making their own accommodation reservations. Hotel rooms are not included in the Mini Reunion fees. For more information, please visit the What You Need To Know page.

Consent to Use of Photographic Images: By registering for, attending or participating in this event, I grant my permission to the Yale Alumni Association (YAA) and/or Yale University to photograph my image (and that of my minor guest attendee(s)) and the right to use and reproduce such images in all media, including digital media, for the purpose of promoting Yale University and YAA programs and events, and other purposes in accordance with Yale’s mission. I understand that I will have no approval rights with respect to the use of these images.

Registration:

I pre-registered in February or March.  What should I do and when?
Registration is now open, so you can now make it official and pay for the reunion ticket of choice as soon as you are ready!  Click here to complete registration for this summer’s mini-reunion!

I already registered ‒ can I add a guest to my registration?
Yes!  Simply return to the mini-reunion registration site and 

I would like to attend just Friday dinner or Sunday brunch.  How can I do that?
The only ticket types available are Full Reunion, Saturday Only, and Cruise Only.  If you are interested in attending just the Friday dinner or Sunday brunch, please e-mail [email protected] to discuss your situation.

Accommodations and Hotels:

What hotel options are available for mini-reunion?
There are no hotel room blocks reserved for this Mini Reunion. Attendees are responsible for making their own accommodation reservations. Hotel rooms are not included in the Mini Reunion fees.  For informational purposes only, here are nearby room options that are available to be booked, and example available rates (as of May 2026):

  • The Lexington Hotel (Marriott): From $248+tax/night
  • Courtyard by Marriott Fifth Avenue: From $341+tax/night
  • The Westin Grand Central (Marriott): From $384+tax/night
  • Yale Club of NYC:  From $359+tax/night (contact the mini-reunion team to inquire about rooms at the Yale Club)

Meals:

What meals are included with my mini-reunion ticket?
Mini-reunion tickets include up to four meals (in the case of Full Reunion tickets):  Friday night dinner, Saturday lunch, Saturday dinner, and Sunday brunch.  Note that alcoholic drinks will be available from cash bars in most cases.  Finally, all reunion tickets include passage aboard our Saturday night sunset cruise.

I have a food sensitivity or dietary restriction.  What options are avialable?
 You can discreetly share your dietary restrictions and needs during registration.  We will work with our restaurants and caterers to ensure there are menu options available for your needs.

Activities:

What activities will be available, and how do I sign-up?
We will help classmates form groups to explore NYC together as we get closer to reunion weekend.  Activities will include a mix of paid and free, and will also include some especially family friendly options.  Note that all activities (and groupings for the same) will be purposefully very informal to facilitate spontaneity throughout mini-reunion weekend!

I have a great idea for an activity we should do together during mini-reunion weekend!  How should I share this?
Please contact [email protected] to let us know about your great idea!  Additionally, mini-reunion registrants will have access to a group WhatsApp both during and several days before mini-reunion weekend, and can use use that WhatsApp as a way either to find classmates who are interested in a given activity, or to find activities to join that might be of interest!

Are there activities for children and families?
Yes!  All events for Mini-Reunion are open to children and are “kid friendly”! In particular, the Saturday picnic (which will include lawn games) and some of our Saturday activities, like a visit to the Intrepid Museum, are planned with our classmate families in mind.  Finally, some of our classmates will be bringing their children aboard our Saturday cruise, and we’ll have both lawn games and some card games and other games aboard, too!

Children:

Are children welcome at Mini-Reunion?
Yes!  All events for Mini-Reunion are open to children and are “kid friendly”!  Refer to the answer to the prior question for more details about activities for children and families who will be joining us.

In terms of mini-reunion fees, children ages 4-10 are welcome to join us at half-off stated ticket rates.  Children under four years of age are free.  Please e-mail [email protected] for details.
